EXPOSURE: My First Fashion Show!
I was invited to my very first fashion show by @agirlwith_style on Saturday, April 15, 2017. This will be the first presentation of designs from #fabrishay. You don’t want to miss this event!!!!
This special event is scheduled for Saturday, April 15, 2017, in Railroad Square from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. near the Drum Circle to bring together artists and several members of the local business community to collaborate on best practices for branding and gaining exposure in the new world of social media. The event, titled “Exposure,” will include a fashion show paired with live performances and business presentations.
“We created ‘Exposure’ to emphasize the principle of collaboration,” said Bianca Belabre, owner of A Girl With Style. “We believe that if community members work together, we can achieve the impossible.”
Belabre is organizing the event along with Sharon Saunders, owner of WhimpyWild Boutique in Railroad Square.
“EXPOSURE will be a collaboration of artistic mediums, providing a platform for partnership and growth,” said Saunders.
During the event, those in attendance can enjoy presentations from executives and business owners and learn more about branding for maximum EXPOSURE. Among the presenters are a photographer, health and fitness magazine editor, event planner, business consultant, production manager and social media manager. The presenters will provide insight on their industry and ways to maximize exposure. After each presentation, the audience can enjoy the work of local designers through a runway-styled fashion show.
The event is free and open to the general public. Tickets are on sale for $15 per person for VIP seating for the fashion show and a VIP reception. A portion of the proceeds will go to Gulf Restoration Network (GRN), a 20-year-old non-profit dedicated to uniting and empowering people to protect and restore the health of the Gulf of Mexico.
